PERHAPS A RADAR BEAM COULD BE FOCUSED AND TUNED TO RUIN THE MAGNETIC LATTICE OF THE TORNADO. WE COULD USE BOTH SURFACE AND AIR VEHICLES. BUT THIS SERVICE WILL START WITH GROUND TRANSPORTATION. ( EVEN IF THIS IS TOO MUCH FIREPOWER FOR A LOCAL INSTITUTION IT WOULD HAVE TO BE PERFECTED BY PRIVATE GROUPS BEFORE TRANSFER TO A MILITARY COMPLEX.)

As with the Microwave Beam technology you're back to square one--extremely high cost, time to develop and questionable results. If Dr. Eastlund was serious about perfecting this "Water Vapor tuned Microwave Emitter" he would build one and put it on the back of an 18 wheeler and point it up at the anvil! No problems at all with it miss firing toward earth! As was Mr. Doswell's concern. There's not enough urgency. Imagine how much housing prices could be inflated if someone could guaranty a tornado free zone!

IT'S NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE YET BUT THE WATCH TIME FOR THE TORNADOS THAT WRECKED CORDELL, OKLAHOMA ON OCT. 9, 2001 WAS 2 HOURS WITH A 15 MINUTE WARNING TIME. BUT THIS WAS AN EASY CLASSIC STORM TO ANALYZE. WE HAD TWO FRONTS MOVING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS SCRAPPING EACH OTHER. 19 TORNADOS TOUCHED DOWN THAT DAY AND EVENING AND 3 WERE OF F3 (2) POWER!! LAUREL AND HARDY COULD HAVE INTERCEPTED THOSE. WE ALSO KNOW THE CLIMATE NEEDED TO START AND MAINTAIN A TORNADO IS FRAGILE. IF ANY VARIABLE IS CHANGED IT BECOMES UNSTABLE AND WILL DISINTEGRATE OF ITS OWN VOLITION. THEN WOULD YOU AGREE SOME SMALL CHARGES OF C4 OR TNT WOULD DISRUPT IT'S WHOLE SHOW? FORGET ABOUT THE HEAT UNBALANCING IT, LET'S JUST RIP THOSE SPIRALING SELF-PERPETUATING VORTEX CLOUDS UP.
